Welcome to MyTargetMD!
I assist M.D. candidates, D.O. candidates, D.V.M. candidates, and applicants to health science graduate programs with all aspects of their applications.
The greatest challenge concerning a career in medicine or the health sciences is gaining admission to the target schools or programs. The situation is particularly poignant for applicants to allopathic medical schools; according to the AAMC, 21,388 of the 51,680 applicants (AMCAS and TMDSAS combined) will matriculate in the fall of 2018. That statistic alone suggests that applying to medical school is a complex process that requires professional assistance. The admissions data governing osteopathic medical schools, veterinary schools, and allied health graduate programs also depict a high level of competition for acceptance to these areas of professional education.
Your acceptance chances depend not only on your diverse accomplishments, but how you present them to admission committees. With my professional guidance, you can optimize the likelihood that you will achieve your goals: gaining admission to several medical schools or professional programs, and pursuing a career in health care.
I am a seasoned admissions consultant with 30 years of combined experience in higher education administration, research, and teaching.
